This refreshing sparkling wine is a straw color with fine bubbles. Aromas of fresh citrus, with hints of honey and flowers. Crisp acidity is balanced by flavors of citrus, peach, and green apples. Grapes are estate grown in the Friuli province of northeastern Italy. Made from 100% Glera grapes whose indigenous origins are in the village of Prosecco 35km to the east of the Benvolio vineyards. Soils of gravel and sand stress the vines while providing exceptional drainage. Warm air from the Adriatic Sea with cool night breezes from the snow covered Alps provide higher acidity to the wine, balancing the natural sugars of the Glera grape.
